Delete your account & data
01 Delete it yourself, in the app
The fastest way, and it takes effect immediately:
- Open SplitStock and sign in.
- Go to Account (bottom bar).
- Scroll to Delete my account.
- Tap Delete my account, then confirm with Delete permanently.
Your account and its data are erased right away and you are signed out. This cannot be undone.
02 Or ask us by email
If you can no longer sign in, email ceo@splitshare.tech from the address you registered with and ask us to delete your account. We confirm and complete erasure within 30 days.
03 What gets deleted
Everything tied to your account is removed from our systems:
- Your profile and sign-in identity (email).
- Your practice portfolio, holdings and tax lots.
- Your order and sell history.
- Your practice wallet balance and its transaction ledger.
- Your watchlist.
- Your registered devices and sign-in sessions.
- Any support tickets and messages you raised.
SplitStock is a practice environment — the money and trades are not real, so there is no real financial holding to unwind. Deleting simply removes your data.
04 What we keep, and for how long
We retain an anonymised record of app actions (for example, that an order or a deletion occurred) with no information that identifies you — your user identifier is removed. This exists only to keep our internal audit trail intact and cannot be linked back to you.
If any information must be retained to comply with a legal obligation, we keep only what the law requires and only for as long as required. For the current simulation, no real KYC, bank or tax records are collected.
